<description>I bike around Key West---I have a vacation home in Old Town. As you probably know, Route 1 is no pleasure for biking coming in to Key West Around mile post 15 there is a bike path for about 5 miles on the north side of the Route 1. I met someone on the bike path---a locale--and I asked him where to bike and why he does not bike on Route 1. He said he was an over-the-highway trucker and he knows what their like and therefore does not think it is safe to use Route 1. Key West itself is not a great biking place, unless you are just peddling around so to speak. Sorry I am not in the Conch Republic when you will be there so I could have invited you over to the house. I just bought the new Corsa S/S down to Key West for Thanksgiving week. Great bike. I will be leaving it at the house so I can use it when I am in Key West.
